Ame was the solo writer on Dead Pets Unleashed for over a year. They owned the branching dialogue and player choices in the script, managed script feedback from the game director, led script readings for the development team, and designed the narrative for the ending of the game.
Ame structured and built a best practices guide for the writing team once the lead writer returned from maternity leave. They also worked closely with the sensitivity consultant on the game.

Dead Pets Unleashed is an indie game launching in early 2024. Ame was the solo writer on Dead Pets Unleashed for over a year, whilst the lead writer was on maternity leave. Ame followed basic episode outlines set by the lead writer in order to write and edit the dialogue for the game.

This is an excerpt from the novel that Ame is working on. It follows a group of Dungeons and Dragons players in their every day lives and in the fantasy world that they play in.
Ame wrote all of the minigame tutorials and in-game text for Dead Pets Unleashed.
Ame wrote over 50 in-game codex entries, newspaper articles, and reports that reflected the varying world state the player had found themselves in.
